Two years ago, Amplified Sound Ltd announced its 50 Year Celebration Event at Newland and all went well, despite a wet and overcast day.

The company, started by Barrie Smith back when valves were used in amplifiers and equipment, has gone from strength to strength.

This year, Barrie (who claims to be an analogue man) sent four of the engineers on a Digital Mixing Course and they returned fired up and ready to go with Digital technology.

Having now purchased a new digital mixer and new digital amplifiers, the future looks good for stage events and music mixing for bands and artists.

The company main stay has been, and remains, Sound for outdoor eventing such as Pony and Horse Events, Polo, Orienteering, and Classic Car Shows. A Mobile Stage was purchased few years ago and has been used for Bands locally in Malvern and as far as Manchester!

A range of outside commentary boxes are available and have been supplied with sound equipment to City and Country Shows in London, St. Helens, Harbury and Cradley, to name a few. Our local Three Counties Show Ground is visited regularly by clients who have become good friends over the years.

Amplified Sound has travelled throughout Britain and even Ireland, with work this year being as far north as Scotland, right down to Devon in the south. Installations in buildings have been carried out as far afield as Newcastle and Dorset. Many Church Buildings and Village Halls around Worcestershire and Herefordshire can boast an amplification and hearing loop system fitted by Amplified Sound Ltd.
